The little menu that pops up when you click on the taskbar icons is honestly pretty nifty.

However, it didn't need to be changed. Stuff that used to be 2 clicks now requires you to navigate an unfamiliar UI.

It would not be nearly as obnoxious if it didn't feel like a step backwards in some aspects, which could be said about the entirety of W11.
