I'm probably going to come off like a complete dickhead, but I can't imagine being a grown adult and being interested in any video game.

There's a few guys at work who are pretty deep in that rabbit hole and it's so f***ing wild. One guy has kids and stays up until like 3am every morning gaming. Like bruv, you're 45.

Reddit comment: "I woke up and bro I’m actually getting emotional. Got that single tear coming out my eye shit. I just beat GTA V for the millionth time again just yesterday but on the 360 to celebrate 10 years. It’s actually funny how I’m crying about a game rn. I don’t care. GTA is childhood, GTA is the best game franchise out there. I’m happy man."

I sort of agree, but only because my body is worn down and constantly throbbing. Elbow hurts, wrist hurts. Heck I only had 30 minutes of gaming yesterday. I used to spend all night gaming from like 7 to 10. Now I'll be lucky if I can game past an hour.

Why would I seek that stuff out if I admittedly don't care
but you've said you're neutral on it because you've seen nothing

see the leaks and what's rumored

the sheer rumor of it having the NPC interaction like RDR2 is very intriguing

I won't begrudge someone for having a hobby, but like your example, some people let it become an unhealthy obsession that impacts their life.

Another example is people taking time off of work so they can play a new game on it's release date. Imagine having so much free time that you can dedicate an entire day to literally playing a game.

I dont play video games but I play RDR2 2 nights a week. Religiously for the past 4 years or so.

One work night from 9 ish until midnight (usually wednesdays) and one weekend night from 9 pm until 3 am whenever.

I declare a "cowboy night" and the fam knows to leave me alone and let me have the living room

Really "cowboy night" is just code for drinking and smoking copious amounts of weed without the fam asking anything of me. I just sit there drinking then go fishing .. click on the caps game . click back to cowboy .. its like im a single dude for a window of time.

its awesome.

I need those retreats from reality. I spend all day doing, doing, doing, going, going, going for everyone around me so I need that "cut the world out" zen time.

Obviously I couldnt do this if I wasnt a super engaged active dad/husband when its not cowboy time.

But that carrot of knowing I get 2 nights to tap out .. thats all i need as motivation to attack each week with energy and positivity.

Every adult needs their own version of "cowboy night" imo

healthy balanced living

parlays are a new hobby but i try not to let it control me. i only bet now every weekend on the football. too dangerous to do it for basketball and hockey lol

still need to get off the mountain in RDR2. Such a shame. The game loads so f***ing slow. I literally had to turn the settings down in Jedi Survivor too just to make it playable.

And anmother thing, f*** EA for optimizing game files. Shit takes like 2 minutes. Just let me play.

I said I have next to zero interest.

no

I didn't play RDR2, so I don't know what that means.
you can talk to random people and antagonize them

this feature in RDR2 was highly praised

Recently ran out of space on my PS5 downloading MLB The Show 23 and Spider Man 2, and running out of space on my gaming PC downloading Guardians of the Galaxy and WRC and Fallout 4.

Of course I'll barely play any of these games :(

the only game I play these days is madden 24 superstar. qb is 79 ovr. down 17 3 and he leads them back to tie 24 24. then of course we can't play d so chiefs win.

would be nice to play d but that's not superstar. In franchise I wouldn't lose that game. probably why my record in franchise was like 100-6 over 5 seasons lol. had a team go 14 2, win super bowl and then sign Jordan love ovr 66, go 15 1 and win sb lol

"turn the difficulty up"

RIP Washington associated football board where I voiced my political takes without fear of retribution

not too often you can do that online now where everything you say is monitored and peered through like a microscope

f*** if I take my show to reddit where the truth is often downvoted. "WELL MAYBE I DON'T THINK HE'S DOING A GOOD JOB."

-59

"HE'S DOING THE BEST HE CAN! GIVE HIM TIME!"

it's been 3 years dumbass

since the forum is defunct I can talk openly about the hate speech directed towards me there including one comment calling me "quite possibly the worst person on the forum" 😂

bud if I'm the worst you've seen you have low standards.

"He is hands down, the worst poster on this forum no matter what the topic is"

if someone said that on hf boards the mod police would be all over it as a personal attack.
