Watching 8MM.

Definitely not a movie that has aged well. It's supposed to be dark and shocking, but it's just so ridiculous and wacky. And Nic Cage's acting ranges from barely believable to hilariously inappropriate.

(I also watched most of the movie mistakenly thinking it was directed by Roland Emmerich, when it's actually by Joel Schumacher.)

8MM was easily a thumbs down, but would recommend because it actually lived up to the overused cliche of "they couldn't make a movie like that nowadays".

It was not good, but it was quite the spectacle.
