I call bullshit. I haven't been in a ton of interviews, but I've never been in a whiteboard situation. It's a coding challenge that they administer usually.

We have union members as part of the interview team, and they give a written test that's gotten pretty hard in recent years.

But back when I interviewed, it was only the managers. And they don't know shit, so they asked me one technical question, and it was the easiest, most braindead question possible.

They basically drew this image and asked me if the circuit was open or closed.
