Need to get this off my chest but it was insanely stupid for Michael Irvin to be gone from tV as long as he was because of unproven allegations, he was recorded talking down to a women or saying something to her, so what? Should he be cancelled because of that? And what's this suit about Marriot? He wasn't found guilty of any wrongdoing, he did nothing wrong. And then the internet wants to place blame on him as being a villian, no he's not playing football ahymore and stabbing barbers, he didn't do anything WRONG, he didn't do anything illegal, and was kept off TV for several months while this fraud "litigation" with Marriott was going on. Now he's finally free to entertain the people again. And I know he a Cowboys fan and player. I shouldn't be defending him. But he did nothing at all wrong. And they tried to cancel him. They failed.

"How dare he speak to the employee in that fashion"

Why, what did he say? Was what he said so bad that he couldn't appear on TV for 8 f***ing months?

"He settled that means he's guilty and just paid for the charges to go away."

Okay?

Still have yet to find out what he said that got him cancelled.

I'm not going to say we shouldn't "believe all women" but after a fair investigation and settlement shouldn't the man be allowed to live his life

WHAT DID HE DO TO GET CANCELLED

f***ing pisses me off and I'm not a Cowboys fan I just like to be enteratined. They f***ing kicked my guy off NFL Network and ESPN because of this shit. Stephen A was right. You never know who is recording you. They were all over him trying to get him cancelled. f*** that.

"he didn't do anything WRONG"

Shut up, you stupid bitch, you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

He doesn't have to break the law and be convicted before the NFL Network can make their own decision to take him off TV. You're a f***ing moron if you think otherwise.

He's not entitled to being on TV, so stfu about him being cancelled.

He's the one that sexually harassed a hotel employee. He's the one that sued Marriott. He's the one that made it into a whole media circus and tried to play the victim.

He's not the victim of anything but his own scumbag actions.

How are you going to have an opinion while not even knowing what the allegations are?

Who was sexually harassed

Irvin also reached out and touched the Victim’s arm during this conversation without her consent, causing her to step back, becoming visibly uncomfortable,” Marriott attorney Nathan Chapman wrote in the document. “Irvin then asked the Victim whether she knew anything about having a ‘big Black man inside of [her].’ Taken aback by Irvin’s comments, the Victim responded that his comments were inappropriate, and she did not wish to discuss it further.

The NFL Network is a private business, they can take anyone off TV for any reason they want.

For all we know, he was pulled from TV because this isn't the first time he's had conduct issues while employed at the NFL Network.

Stop saying he did nothing wrong just because you're wholly uninformed about the situation.

you conveniently cut out where he denied doing anything and showed the evidence where he didn't do anything wrong

stop trying to get him cancelled

Conveniently cut out? I'm telling you about the allegations that you're still clueless about. I'm not presenting both sides of the story because obviously he's going to claim innocence.

The video that had no audio, but showed Irvin slapping himself on the head after the interaction?

Explain how I'm trying to get him cancelled. I'm correcting the stupidity you're spewing.

Irvin is the one that went running to the media, then sued Marriott for defamation.

His lawyers tried to muddy the waters by proclaiming he never sexually assaulted anyone, when that was never part of the allegations.

"his opinion doesn't matter she was harassed"

In March, Marriott accused Irvin of making inappropriate sexual advances toward one of its female employees in a court filing, saying the former NFL wideout appeared to be intoxicated, approached the woman and shook her hand while saying she was attractive in the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown on Feb. 5.

"Irvin also reached out and touched the Victim's arm during this conversation without her consent, causing her to step back, becoming visibly uncomfortable," the filing read. "Irvin then asked the Victim whether she knew anything about having a "big Black man inside of [her]."

"Irvin then attempted to grab the Victim's hand again and said he was 'Sorry if he brought up bad memories' for her,'" it continued. "The Victim pulled her hand away and tried to back away from Irvin as he continued to move towards her."

No charges were filed against Irvin, who denied the accusations and said in a March press conference they harkened "back to a time where a white woman would accuse a black man of something, and they would take a bunch of guys that were above the law, run in a barn, put a rope around his foot and drag him through the mud and hang him by a tree."

"Irvin later testified he had consumed alcohol and couldn’t remember most of the details about their conversation, a statement later confirmed by witnesses who claimed they wanted to buy drinks for Irvin at the hotel bar."

Nothing screams innocence like "I was too drunk to remember".

Textbook race baiting.

Comparing being taken off TV to lynchings, Jesus f***ing Christ, what a scumbag

"Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin was never fired by NFL Network and in fact continued to collect his normal paycheck for the last seven months even while not being allowed to work while involved in a sexual harassment controversy."

Suspended with pay is being cancelled, apparently
