I havent' fully quit "X" but I've used it much less since the rate limiting crushed my ability to get news.
I used to sit in front of my computer for hours. A twitter feed would scroll by on the right side of my monitor, or the 2nd monitor. I've posted pictures of this repeatedly.
Once Elon's dumb rules limited this I found it a LOT harder to get information. Yes I still surf these websites, and multiple forums for information, but I won't get it in real time anymore because apparently leaving my app open to read tweets in real time as they're posted is no longer allowed, and "makes me a bot" or "freeloader".
I signed up for BlueSky and have Threads on my phone, but I've noticed Threads is acting quirky on the app. I'm surprised more people haven't given up on Twitter. The majority of people I know who also post stories and tweets most of the time (not this board only, but other forums too) continue to just paste twitter links like nothing is going on. Fine by me, but as someone who used to sit by their computer for hours at a time poring over social media, that's just not the case anymore since elon cracked down on apps

Fenway Sports is going to kill this team. They obviously have no clue how to cater to a Burgh sports fan. Same shit as when Sherman came in & fired Geff. (though, yes I am over that now, but its the concept I am still angry over)
He will be missed.
