Not gonna lie.......that dish actually looks yummy & MUCH healthier then the stuff you usually post pictures of.

Ok....upon further review Zaide made a very valid point. It seems the only thing you accurately followed from the book is the amount of macaroni & maybe a spice or 2. Granted, I still say its 100% better than the stuff you usually show us but if you are going to use a cookbook, you need to follow the recipes to the letter. There is no reason not to buy a fresh veggie if that's what a dish calls for. That said, I give you major kudos for the effort.

Look again I admire that you made a great effort with the dish & honestly I would eat it and likely enjoy it, but the idea of using a cookbook is to follow the exact recipe. From the little I know, Racheal's are the easiest to do so I hooe at some point you will make one that is 100% according to what she wrote.
