I remembered this movie from my childhood and watched it a few weeks ago.

The movie portrays some of the worst messages possible, all under the guise of comedy.

And his parents are beyond terrible. They waffle between completely not giving a shit about their youngest son to berating him for not being a more successful 12 year old.

They show a part at the beginning of the movie where the main character gets invited to a party at an amusement park, but his parents only gave him 5 bucks, and he couldn't afford to go on any of the rides.

Because that's the exact kind of entertainment I want from a kids movie, a kid getting ostracized because he's poor.

Then he goes home and his dad gives him shit about not having a job. HE'S TWELVE

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Florida briefly limited ticket sales for their series against Toronto to fans with U.S. credit cards, a decision that some Maple Leafs fans thought was designed keep them from coming to Games 3 and 4.

The Panthers might be able to keep them from a Game 5 in Toronto, too.

Sam Reinhart scored 3:02 into overtime and the Panthers — who had to fight just to squeak into the playoffs, then stunned Boston in Round 1 — are on the brink of their first conference finals appearance since 1996. Florida topped Toronto 3-2 on Sunday night, taking a 3-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

The dad is played by this guy, who just naturally looks like a massive asshole.

I can't emphasize how f***ed up that movie was. Sure, I probably didn't notice any of it as a kid, but you're still putting that shit in front of kids' faces and you know they're going to internalize some of it.

Miami Heat captain Udonis Haslem — wearing a Duclair jersey — was at the game with some teammates including Heat guard Gabe Vincent, and did his part to get fans engaged by beating a drum at one end of the rink shortly before game time.

“I got cool with Duclair a couple years ago, and told him that when I had time I would come out,” said Haslem, whose Heat lead New York in a second-round series 2-1 with Game 4 in Miami on Monday. “It’s amazing here right now. South Florida sports, we always feel like the underdogs, but these guys on the Panthers, the heart they play with, it’s inspiring to see.”

Imagine a kid that doesn't have a father figure in his life seeing that movie and seeing that awful, douchebag of a father telling his 12 year old son to get a job.

Oh and at the end of the movie an adult woman (who is also an FBI agent) kisses this 12 year old child on the mouth.

So yeah, written by a f***ing idiot.

I will likely tune in at least to the beggining.

So let me understand.......you claimed earlier that this was to be a very busy and productive day & yet you are complaining of boredom. :help:

You also must realize that this hate of Krugman is not a good look since he is of the same religious persuasion as Soros.

Mr. Forrester was discussed this morning because of the horrifying testimony he gave.

Our new poster Mr. Simonon is more than welcome to stay & post often. I am also hoping our 8 legged friend comes back some day.

Please do share the reason you post all these pictures constantly.......the one with the 2 plushies looking like they are holding hands is just chef's kiss. :biglaugh:

And now.......the ever wonderful Dougie P!!! :yo:
