Isles clinch playoff spot; Pens' 16-year streak ends
The Islanders defeated the Canadiens on Wednesday night to clinch the final Stanley Cup playoff berth and eliminate the Penguins, ending their streak of 16 straight playoff appearances.
Frankly I haven’t cared much about Pens hockey since 2019-ish.
I haven’t even purchased Center Ice for years now. Not that it would do me much good anymore it seems like with all these new and stupid ESPN+ or blahblajblah Premium bullshit blackouts being applied to games. And I ain’t paying for Center Ice (which here with f***ing Rogers is extortionately priced) PLUS more channel packages just to watch a handful of games.
