Joe "Zazagi" has railed against the anti U bias when it comes to ACC refs since we joined the league. It's a real thing. Some of the calls last night were atrocious. That said, I don't think it would have affected the outcome. And FYI, I can be happy for Scheyer and the boys while still being upset the The U lost. That said, the extra day's rest will do them good in the long run. Pack is still banged up & Norchad would not have played tonight.

Meanwhile:

Gratzky "Mika" - now officially GOAT

There is a difference between being happy & being realistic. I'm looking at the big picture, and that's the Big Dance. Meanwhile, tons of conference tourney action, Players Championship, Bruins/Wings on and you are watching the irrelevant MLS. :shakehead

Too bad you can't post the new #1 song on ITunes here! :naughty:

Ok good luck to Virginia Tech tonight as they battle Duke........ooops....my bad....wrong Virginia team!

  4. 9West Virginia

    Rutgers
  3. 3aq - Marquette
  4. 14aq - Furman

  2. 10

    USC
  3. 2Texas
  4. 15aq - Kennesaw St.

Posters on Canes Insight are spewing venom at Lunardi for moving us down to a 6, but this bracket to me is actually looking like an easier road for The U then being a 5 seed in Kansas' region. Being a 6 means you avoid the #1 seed for a bit longer AND you avoid all those mid-major 12 seeds that always pull off the upsets because they were way under-seeded.

Yeah, I may yet end up being happy about the loss last night.

They go "dormant" when it gets too cold for them. They don't die, they just stay dormant until it warms up enough. It does not hurt them or kill them.

Not to sound morbid, but when they showed one of those sweet little guys in its dormant state on its back, its arms almost looked the same as Tua's did when he was concussed in Cincy! (yeah, I know, shame on me for advocating that people were over-reaction)

Miami

Top storyline: Miami opened the 2022 season amid much fanfare with the return of Mario Cristobal, a renewed investment from the school in football, an all-star cast of assistant coaches and an incumbent QB poised for stardom. The result: 5-7. This offseason saw an exodus of assistants and players, but folks around Miami think it might be better for it. In particular, QB Tyler Van Dyke looks like he'll be a far better fit in new OC Shawn Dawson's offensive scheme. There are still plenty of big questions for Miami, but the biggest accomplishment the team might achieve this spring will be simply putting 2022 in the rearview mirror for good.

Newcomer to watch: Miami signed a pair of five-star offensive linemen, and both players -- Francis Mauigoa and Samson Okunlola -- will participate in spring ball. Given the Hurricanes' offensive woes last season, which included just 1.42 yards before contact per carry, adding size and strength up from is critical. If Mauigoa and Okunola develop as Cristobal hopes they will, they'd fit nicely into a group that also includes veteran Zion Nelson and UCF transfer Matt Lee.

Artosis has said that after his first year, he had spent about 1,200 hours in-game, up to 16 hours a day, and knew he could play in tournaments.[1] As his StarCraft habits began to affect his life, his parents confiscated his dial-up modem and computer peripherals, which he circumvented with replacements.[1] Despite his parents' requests to desist, Artosis decided in high school that he would pursue the game as a career based on the game's popularity in South Korea.[1] At this time, he was ranked within the top three American StarCraft players.[1] He represented North America twice at the StarCraft World Championships, and competed in the United States finals eight times.[1]
