I know of at least two women that were on that site, as I was for about 6 years or so after I left this place. Haven't been there for very many years now though.
Two ex-HFers (one of which I think came back) created that site as an unfiltered response to the flurry of lounge bannings that took place from 2004 to 2008, and chose that name (which they have since changed) at least partially as a joke due to the typo potential.
In essence, it was my generation's Discord; an unfiltered response to excessive Lounge moderation (some of which I regretfully took part in.) HF admins created the Rogues's Den in 2007 as a type of unfiltered content but A) they waited until a lot of the good posters were already asterisked; and B) it wasn't the same level of freedom as Broads. I do remember writing a highly detailed post on a sex act in the Rogues's Den though lol.

I have made a salad with green papaya before, back when I actually could enjoy cooking.
It's such a different experience than ripe papaya and far better suited for a salad. way more crunchy and I am all about crunchy in my salads.

never tried it tbh, only ever found ripe papaya; even the ones that look unripe are orange inside >
(and since i don't actually like ripe papaya, i'm not taking the risk of wasting food)i never checked at the asian store and didn't feel like taking the car just for that

I like unripe papaya more than ripe papaya. There are far better choices for fresh tropical fruits than papaya IMO.never tried it tbh, only ever found ripe papaya; even the ones that look unripe are orange inside >

Green papaya has a crisp, snappy texture. It's pretty good in salads.

Yeah, I've tried it a few times and everytime i wonder why people even willingly choose that over other alternatives like mango or some melons.
