Any hockey game without the skill stick is nearly unplayable.

Without stickhandling and shot aiming, scoring just feels random and unsatisfying.

Yeah, back when I still had a PS3 I snagged a used PS1 copy of “NHL 99” to replay for shits and giggles…as I had initially owned a copy of it for the PS1 back in the day. My grandmother actually bought that for my birthday when it had come out that year.

But yeah even when replaying it like 15 years later, I still remembered the cheeseball way to score every single time.

For some reason, isn’t NHL 94 considered one of EA’s “best all-time” NHL instalments in the EA NHL series tho??

Frankly it’s not that great IMO.

While I remember playing Mario Lemieux Hockey, this is the one that I have vivid memories of playing.

Still way better than NHL Stanlet Cup on the SNES, in which you can literally score every time using one of two dumping gliches

Nah I can't even get past the opening zone. Not sure what to do because there's only 3 things to do here.

- go after the guards at the intersection where I keep wiping

- run past the monster in that small rock path to the left, then the wolves go after you

- visit the grace near the wolves, then you get some jellyfish

I'm not sure where to go after this so I just quit yesterday and looked at some walkthroughs
