From years past I remember Herbie always seeming to want to remain "objective". I can see why, listening to Desmond Howard kiss his alma mater's cheeks every opportunity he can is pretty obnoxious. However, it seemed like Herbie went out of his way to criticize Buckeye Nation to avoid being a homer.

Listening to him call this game seems like he's only gotten worse. Claiming there are 40k volunteer fans in the stands, saying that the Volunteers "dominated in the trenches", etc etc. It's as though he is stating what he wishes happened rather than what actually happened.
