I appreciate the Pens input in here but you all some really uneducated folk to accuse the Caps of cheating. If you want to shit on them for buying CapGeek fine but they literally did what any other team does and their players on LTIR guess what aren't coming back anytime soon or even for the playoffs. Do you know what Backstrom has gone through, he hasn't played in years. And fine, even if he does play this season in the playoffs, who cares. Is it really that bad to you?

As a big baseball nerd and Japanese baseball expert it's great that Sasaki is coming over to MLB but I worry for the future of NPB when the best talent can just bolt to MLB with very little roadblocks
The whole point of the posting system is to protect the clubs. Nippon Ham struggled for years after Ohtani left to MLB and only now made the Climax Series again. I worry what this will do to the growth of the league, but at the same time welcome Sasaki to what will be a tough test with the Dodgers
