GDT: USA vs. Sweden | January 5th, Final; 1:30 PM EST, 7:30 PM Local

No shl crowd would be silenced by a goal against like that. That is my main complaint. The other is Lindstein is not having his best game.

Lol Canada don’t count here you all will move heaven and earth to be there . If this was a basketball championship or football U.S.A. would be like that as well probably.

To be honest, I don’t think the US sports mentality really extends to international competition.

They could get 250,000 people to show up at a college football game though.

2026 world juinors in st paul is gonna be sweet.

Minnesota is a real hotbed for hockey in the States. Looking forward to it.

I thought Sweden had the better of play, they swarmed the puck and were the quicker team. Seemed to have more offensive pressure and were stronger defensively. They also seem to be larger and more physical. And I’m rooting for the USA.

phenomenal pace and intensity to this game so far. swedes predictably came out absolutely flying at home, usa fortunate to escape those first 10 unharmed.

smith and casey have been the biggest standouts, bc line overall was very good. great play from smith to perrault...those two share a brain.

Living in a college football town, it's wild how far people will go. I know of fans who flew to Utah in August just to see the local college team get smoked. It's not uncommon here and they aren't even good right now.

Jesus How many times are they gonna try and force passes to slot that aren’t there…and easily broken up
