Did you watch the replay. All contact was to the head. He was just trying to make a hit but that is irrelevant

Looks like he left his feet and hit him in the head to me from what I saw of the ref cam. Again though, I only saw the single replay from that angle, so I do admit that I could be wrong. Just sharing my opinion.
