I don't know about Caufield - all of the smaller guys got knocked around a lot. EP, Aho, Hughes were all non-factors and spent a lot of time picking themselves up off the ice. Robertson, Tuch instead of Kreider though? People who can still skate and know how to play a 2-way game? Sure.

Also it feels poetic that Matthews couldn't cash in on two OT chances to end the tournament and then lost McDavid, of all people, so he was wide open in the slot with time and space to score the game winner
I feel like Eichel was better offensively in Buffalo before his neck injury, but Vegas has rounded him into a two way beast.
Matthew’s doesn’t seem to have it in the big games.

Eichel was well on his way to being a 2 way beast here. The year before his injury he was a beast.
I think his offense has taken a hit because he doesn’t try and rush puck up ice and beat people on the rush.
He plays a much more mature and cerebral game
