McAvoy, Slavin, and Hanifin in particular have really stood out with their play in the defensive zone in the third period. They may have gone into a defensive shell, but they had the horses to still play strong defense (and Hellebucyk when all else fails).Maybe. I'm not used to this sort of competent defensive play (you know, being a Sabres fan and all)
I've been pining for this guy for over a decade at this pointSlavin is unreal.
Only been like 1 injury in the games played that is causing someone to miss time.IDK if the NHL is gonna want to do this tourny every year with the guys going this hard. Seems like there have been a decent amount of injuries so far. And these are all top guys too.
Or tied for 2ndUS alone atop the standings. Everyone else tied at the bottom
Cournoyer looking frail. Used to love watching him race around the rink. Guy had a f***ing rocket of a wrist shot too.
US going into the Sabres Shell... don't think it's going to work out well for them if they continue
imagine being canadian
Time for a new router?
The only thing that opens the game up more is a bigger ice surface or fewer players on the ice. The skating has just evolved too much.Stacking the blue line ruins hockey. Get rid of the blue line and change offsides to soccers offsides and may every coach who plays this defensive shell bs get vicious and repeated jock itch outbreaks.
Just a remind, Jason Botterill didn't think this kid deserved a contract -
Also, any time I can see Sam Bennett's dome whipping back because someone has punched his dirtbag face, I'm good.
still a shithole human being though. but I did like watching him oplay.Eichel is so good now, he was good with us but his game is so complete. He does everything well now. I'm sad.
