I don't fully put that goal on Quick, Team USA as a whole isn't playing gold medal worthy hockey in this 2nd period.
 
no puck possession and pressure so far in the 2nd for the US. only transition and outside chances.

How could Quick have made that save. Screened and then Benn came in from the other side straight through the American defense. Nothing Quick could do.

America needs sustained pressure. They aren't playing well.
 
This PP looks like a LA Kings one... Just a lot of passing and looking and shooting occasionally into traffic. It is all going through Kane on the half-boards like Kopitar.
 
I don't see USA winning this game, Canada just has another gear they can reach if they really want too.
 
need to try get Kane on a line with some meat up front. let them pull the pressure off him and force it around the net. give Kane some more room to operate.

put Wheeler or Brown over on the LW with kesler=kane
 
Am seeing alot more passion and physical play right now. Just need to turn it into a goal or it's wasted.
