I love the Slovak and Swiss jerseys. Simple and classy. I don't see much wrong with the American jerseys, even if it's not my style. The Finnish jerseys seem a bit rococo, and the Canadian jerseys, I thought, were rather ugly. Simple and clean is the way to go.

I gotta agree. Thank the hockey gods Canada chose not to use those.i don't like these tighter jersey's taller and bigger players like pronger look wierd too me. i think the US jersey should have the flag on it with like an eagle next to it. that to me would look better

I have the USA jersey, it's not too bad. Although, I'll take my Blue Jackets 3rd jersey over it any day of the week.

I agree that the Columbus 3rd jersey with some modifications wouldn't be too bad for a team usa jersey but what can you do? Nike makes the jerseys and pays a lot to do it. As long as they are willing to spend, then they can decide what it should look like.

There is nothing black in Finland, on the flag, on the crest or on Kekkonen's plate.
If they wanted a 3rd colour to work with it should have been red or yellow (colours on the Finnish crest).
silly pub trivia fact: Finland's 3rd jersey is red. You never see it because we always play in either home or away colours depending on the other guys colour. The red looks quite cool, especially with the yellow lion on the chest.

I agree, other countries' uniforms have something that seems indicative of their country, even if it is just the flag. USA with warped running stripes is just goofy. Something you'd design if you were in 5th grade. Canada has a maple leaf, other countries have a coat of arms or flag symbol, while the USA has letters and colors. THey need to go with something like an Eagle or Flag that represents the country.
By the way, all these new Nike styles are hideous.
