Meaningless? Could have been the first medal since 1953.

OK, granted! If it's not like your team gets this far every year then it is a huge thing.

If there had been a play off-format in the 80s and Finland had been in the bronze medal-game it would have been a huge thing but these days people wouldn't get too excited about it as expectations are higher.

This game is becoming the WWE with all the roughing calls in 3rd period. Let's not forget chirping in the penalty box between the German and American players.

Good for team USA. Hopefully one year they can get some more talent going and really compete for gold. Glad some Rangers got medals, though.

Congratulations to the United States winning the Bronze medal. I am sure someday if they keep up to to their winning ways, they will get a chance to play for gold in a WHC final and end their 80+ year drought.

As for Germany, its unfortunate to see their tournament end in disappointment, but they had a great tournament. They are going to be a strong team once Draisaitl and Stutzle join their team whether if it's the Olympics or future WHC.

Great seeing Ottawa 67s alum, Sasha Chemelevski getting the bronze medal to add to his World Junior silver medal from 2019.

Very Proud of the boys, awesome tournament. After those efforts the last few days one unfortunatly had to expect that a break down could be on the cards. Congrats the US Team they clerly outperformed us on all levels today.

If you play 10 games you are bound to have at least one bad game. It takes skill to have that bad game in a spot where it doesn't ruin your tournament.
