So predictable. NHL teams don't often start their goalie back to back for a reason - save percentage in the second game drops by 0.20 on average.

Let alone after an intense game where he faced 36 shots plus more in the shootout.

Never mind that Parsons is the smaller, inferior goalie.

Hart is playing back to back too, but didn't play the whole game in the semis, so he only faced half as many shots as Parsons.

I said before the game that USA coaching staff may have gifted this game to Canada with the goaltending choice.

Tell that to Mike Babcock.

LOL it's amazing. it's just a game.

To be fair, compared to the long somewhat tedious grind of the nhl regular season, this is some spectacular hockey. I don'teven know the score of the Oiler game now and happy to watch highlights of it later.

Virtanen made that same hit last year and got absolutely lambasted for it

Virtanen made the hit with like 2 mins left in the game, and Canada tied. Finland scored, and Canada got eliminated. Plus, if Virtanen contributed anything but penalties, maybe people would have been more lenient.

Knew the Canadians would have the upper hand in the first. Their home, place is buzzing. US need more out of Keller, White, Greenway and Kunin or you can turn the sets off.

Not just any playoff games, game 6/7 of the finals.

I feel like this whole tournament is rushed with the 4 in 6 days prelims, and then back-to-back playoff games.

Not complaining because every team has to do it, but I feel like we could enjoy this tournament for another few days.

Stephens seems to be fighting the puck tonight, caused a few uncharacteristic turnovers already.

Strome with that sundial windup again.

Strome... the thinking man...
