Just some thoughts...

Gambling sites don't set favorites - they set lines to even money distribution and it shouldn't surprise anyone that more Canadians would be betting on the WJC than Americans. They're going to bet Canada and so they'll get worse odds...

I love the bipolar Canadian fan. You guys were ready to run your team out of the country as failures a few days ago. Now they're a lock.

Is Sweden a dominant team that Canada shut down? Or are they a team that ran a weak schedule that any of USA, Canada or Russia would have handled. Did Sweden suffer from not playing a high tempo/intensity game until last night?

The US has closed the gap. Canada just needs to deal with it. The teams are so close most years that anything can happen when they meet. Including me tonight.

The line between gold medal lock and goat for Hart - a few pucks bouncing of his glove but not going in during the semi.

Bellows awful tourney continues - make that pass. You're not the elite scorer, at least right now, you were last year...
