    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. Players on NHL contracts are on P-1 visas (pro). Players on AHL or ECHL deals are nominally on H-1B visas.



More tracking for nonUS folks.

Not sure how this will impact teams.

(They should be "tracking" entries and exits, including businesses trips to/from Canada.)
 
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Chaos is bad for business unless you’re in the chaos business. Add this to the tariff two-step as signs we’re headed for choppy seas in all areas, including sports. As hockey is the most integrated of the North American sports industry, this discord is going to be pretty hard on our game. I don’t like where we’re headed.

Without getting too political here.

My brother is a musician who splits time between NYC and NOLA. He has duel citizenship. 2 members of his band are on visas. In the last month have more time in the police station than stage. Getting asked the same questions, producing the same documents. Because they now carry all the documents? They are being asked why they do "prepared"

They are all whiter than white.

I know here in the UK the restrictions put in place that were often overlooked for musicians are about to no longer over look.

Many Americans come over to busk for the summer time in Europe and previously they were waived in with no problem if they had a guitar or a sax. Sounds like that will come to a stop
