Upgrades coming to Amerant Bank Arena

I was in 327 for the Penguins game and noticed that what used to be the Duffys Sky Club above 330 was completely abandoned. That's probably where that upper level hospitality zone is going. I wonder if they used that for SRO during the playoffs last year.

I remember using SRO in 307. You had your own bathroom and access to what was close to the roof as a smoking section when it was still allowed

Well, I can see how they are going to pay for these upgrades. Received my renewal today and my Club seats went from $69 per game to $96 per game. Over $1000 more to renew the Premier Plan.

I understand an increase, but that's pretty steep.

Bummer. The cost of winning I guess. Is that a 41 game package?
Per seat as well?

Yeah I see some people on facebook are seeing a 60% increase. Insane.

Just got my bill for my 2 club seats and it’s a $1600 increase from last year.
I have a full season for both seats, since 2000.

That is a 35% increase.

Don't forget higher prices and more merchandise in-arena as well (probably parking, too), these upgrades are not meant to benefit the fans' pocketbooks.

I don’t understand how they can charge higher prices when they have no fans in hockey-depleted non-original-sux market.

social space to connect with fellow fans. Demolition and construction will begin this off-season, with expected completion ahead of the 2026-27 season. Members impacted by the upcoming change will be emailed with further details.

This is going to be a huge waste of space and money. They already tried something like this and it failed. Corona beach clubs is not worth the money either.

They are removing 5 sections or so of the 300 level seats. I have been in club since 2000 so this doesn’t affect me, but this is a really bad idea.

Sometimes just space with some chairs would be a good idea. Open space is luxurious.

I’m just happy about the new scoreboard. Remember when they put this one in. While not bad, it’s not exactly to the level of a lot of the modern ones so a big new fancy screen will look nice. Think they already upgraded the sound system. I like the additions they’ve made in the past couple years. Curious what the changes to the merchandising stuff is all about, idk how you make the shops any easier to shop in unless they’re making them bigger somehow?
