Upcoming games you're looking forward to

A game that I just learned of, but have been waiting over 30 years for...

Split Fiction is out tomorrow and looks amazing, surprised there's been no discussion here about it. Expecting it to be in GOTY discussion from now until December.

It Takes Two was one of my favourite games of all time, corny as hell in parts but such an amazing take on co-op gaming and this one looks like more of the same.

Assassin's Creed Shadows

Hearing some good things about it from early reviews. I've pretty much played all the AC games except for Mirage and I've grown to enjoy the open world RPG style in Origins and Odyssey, although Valhalla was a bit of a letdown. I've always wanted an AC game based in Japan or China, so it seems like I'm getting my wish. I held off on Ghost of Tsushima when they first teased it a few years ago, so hope it will be worth the wait.

Looks wacky and interesting

It strikes me sort of like Grand Theft Auto: Havana (but with only courier missions). It appears to be also coming to PC and a demo is already available to download on Steam.

skate.

It seems like such a cancer of a game (free-to-play, always on-line, microtransactions already in alphatest phase), but it's SKATE.

Just found out about this game recently and i'm really excited to see how the reviews land. A turn based RPG? YES PLEASE.
Previews are very positive so far, I’m just as fired up about the old school overworld map of yesteryear being implemented as I am about the combat. Might be my next purchase along with Death Stranding 2
