Speculation: Unusual amount of RFAs left?

Honestly I wish some teams would just offersheet the RFA. like have a rule that if a player isnt signed by September 15th then they become a UFA

It's just bad not to have arbitration rights when it seems all teams agreed to a codex. Agents aren't doing a good job, all agents should have a codex too. If I were an agent I would be much more aggressive when RFA get lowballed.

Wow Sept 15th would become bigger than July 1st with all the young star players refusing to sign so they can become FA after their entry level contact has expired. Not just to sign with another team but to extort more money out of their own team.

That would be a disaster.

Why hasn't Ryan Sproul signed yet!?

Heard that he's probably going to sign around training camp time, I would think something around 1 year $700,000 more then likely would love to see him make the team. But i seriously doubt that he beats out Xavier Ouellet as the Wings 7th D-man.
