Last year topped out at 16-1700 for the TMU/UNB game. I can see a little bit more for tomorrow night.
I will be shocked if there are more than 500 people in the stands Thursday night. I can almost assure you that there will be more UNB fans than Gee-Gee fans.
I do realize that the Gee-Gees do not have a dedicated fan base. I'm just wagering on the fact that the organizers will be promoting the game to the student body. Probably with free tickets.
Anyway we will soon find out.
Well you would know better than me.As faculty at UOttawa, I can tell you that nobody on campus is aware this is happening.
That’s disappointing to hear, but not terribly surprising unfortunately. As faculty at UOttawa, I can tell you that nobody on campus is aware this is happening.

UOttawa draws flies to their home games, plus you have the Ottawa Senators, 2025 World Juniors, Ottawa 67s, and Ottawa Charge (PWHL) tapping out the casual hockey fan market.
I mentioned before that several years ago at the coaches meetings, I was talking to the then OTT coach and he said they had around 40K students but drew a hundred or so for games.
Yup. Frame rate is awful too, really regretting the thought process of “I’ll watch from home and go the next few years “ …. What a clown show30 seconds in and already having the same French/English overlapping audio issues we had last year…
I’m genuinely curious what you gain beyond a recruiting tool when you host this tournament in empty barns.Youtube channel has roughly 500 people watching this TMU-MRU game live, which seems to be about 499 more people than are in TD Place watching live.
Camera needs to be quicker following the puck.Absolute amateur hour on this broadcast ….
Cameras might be higher quality, BUT I’d rather watch every AUS webcast than this .Camera needs to be quicker following the puck.

The hockey isn’t as good but you could go play club hockey in the states and get a better hockey experience …Had this exact conversation yesterday with a colleague of whose 19 year old son is playing Jr. A in Ontario. Not a Div I prospect, but more than capable of USports. He's considering Div III as an option but not USports because he sees no point in playing where hockey doesn't matter.
Oh wow, I was just watching on the CBC Sports website, streaming quality is much better on youtube.Youtube channel has roughly 500 people watching this TMU-MRU game live, which seems to be about 499 more people than are in TD Place watching live.
YouTube on Xbox is the best combo I’ve found.Oh wow, I was just watching on the CBC Sports website, streaming quality is much better on youtube.
