Yup.Waterloo with the upset…3-0 final
Absolutely insane .First goal UNB has given up at the UCup since the 2023 semi-final
If Concordia and queens came win tomorrow lolJust like the the low-level OUA is 2-0 on day one of the U-CUP!!!
Absolutely…especially in a single elimination situation. The gap between the OUA and the other conferences has shrunk considerably the last 3-4 years.I have to say us guys out east need to stop disrespecting the OUA….
Well I’m 10000% cheering for you guys…The first 60 minutes wasn't all that bad, though not up to their usual selves.
That overtime was the worse I've seen UNB play in a long, long, long time.
The penalty just seemed to throw them…they couldn’t get sorted out after that. The first 60 minutes wasn't all that bad, though not up to their usual selves.

Alberta/WaterlooBiggest upset since 2004 UNB-Alberta?
I have to say us guys out east need to stop disrespecting the OUA….
Agreed. It would be their first championship since 1981Sask tournament to lose now
100% that was probably the weakest UNB team since 2006.Definitely a bigger upset than the loss to Ryerson in 2022
Moncton is winning to avenge new brunswickSask tournament to lose now
Every time I go to Moncton I debate buying an Aigles hat because I have an absurd hat collection … I never do because I decide it’s sacrilegious….Moncton is winning to avenge new brunswick
I still don't understand why USports insists on these larger venues for UCup. The women's tournament is at a Jr B facility (although the GOJHL definitely functions like a Jr A league), and although the rink in Elmira is a 20-ish min drive from Waterloo's campus, the atmosphere was outstanding last night. Turns out, a thousand people in a 1300-seat rink sound better than they do in a 5000-seat rink. Who knew?Women’s game is at a much more suitable facility .
I was looking at rinks around Ottawa to see what would be more suitable but everything in Ottawa proper is far too big or small, some nice Junior.A level facilities 30-45 mins out of town.
