1. Hope coaches are watching faceoffs are so crucial offensively and defensively almost every big Ottawa goal has been off of a faceoff

2. Not surprised Ottawa is winning both games in the regular season were 4-3 with each team winning at home

In hindsight I wonder how inflated their numbers were only playing maritime teams.

Unless Ottawa wins, it will be the first time since UQTR in 2001 that a team has won the title without having to go through either UNB or Alberta.

This was fake news. McGill won in 2012 without having to go through either...they were in a pool with Moncton/Saskatchewan and then beat Western in the final. I was thinking 2011 when they beat X and Alberta in the round robin before losing to UNB in the final.

Another year in the book, I have to say that it is a lot more fun having people to banter with on here , definitely adds to the fun . Look forward to maybe linking up with some of you that I don’t know personally next year in Halifax! Helluva year of CIS hockey… Thanks fellas
