He doesn’t touch the puck until a foot into the zone. That could be delayed offside, were they off by the time he touches it?
Looks like he touched it before the skate comes off the ice anyway but I hate that situations like that even have to be considered. He clearly has possession of the puck the whole time

Always interesting that we set up these reviews to get things right but not giving a goal to Germany here is obviously the wrong thing to do despite the fact it may be no goal on technicalities.

Sucks for Germany but offside is offside...

Edit: Nevermind. Its the wrong call by the letter of the rule but I understand that it has to be inconclusive to overturn.

wow. surprised they said it was good goal but I guess they must have felt the player had sufficiently jumped off the ice when the player touched the pucik
