Solid period overall. Won 70% of faceoffs and was overall very possessive over the puck.
It baffles me how fast Vronny and Marchenko are speeding up this rebuild. Those two are turning out be genuine 1st line stars. Absolutely loving this team this year

He's just starting his NHL career, focus on the basics and keep it simple.
They didn't bring him up to spark the offense. He's doing just fine.

I think it’s absurd that he’s only had 3 shots on goal in his first 7 games.

he’s put up incredible/elite offensive numbers at every level he’s played at, including the A.

I understand there’s a huge adjustment/transition to the NHL level but I can confidently say that I speak for many people in saying he needs to shoot the puck more/be less selfish than he has been.

I’m sorry but I’m just tired of watching JVR and ZAR in top 9 line roles. JVR ain’t that anymore and ZAR never has been. This creates a real drag on the offensive potential.

There was an icing call on us that didn’t look like icing to me. They didn’t show a replay. We got stuck down in our own zone for a long time after that call, too.

3rd period is usually where CBJ cave against Pens. The Pens find another gear and the CBJ can't match the intensity. Will be interesting to see if we can finally find another gear...if this team is really turning the corner.
