Post-Game Talk: Underwhelming 1-0 loss in Game 2

Habs basically doing what we did to Edm. Defend like crazy, collapse to the middle, clog the neutral zone and capitalize on 1 mistake. That's the main reason it is such boring hockey.

You need to find a way to break that down and score first. Or you need to score on the power play. At least then you force them to open up the game and start to stray from the plan.

They exucuted their game plan to a tee tonight.

Hopefully Stas can go game 3 and 4 and we can feed off the slightly larger crowd while continuing road success.

A loss sucks, but it a nice good clean game of hockey. Both teams played well. What I loved was how both teams moved on from what happened last game.

This is an exact replica of how good things would've come out if Wilson was suspended.

If the team insists on regularly taking a road trip behind the Habs net, they can at least stay there for some scenery and draw in the Habs instead of passing through and then immediately giving the puck away along the boards.

PLD looked 10x better than Connor. Anyone who thinks it’s PLD killing plays is cracked. Connor was an absolute trash can. He was so bad he was an anti-hockey player. He looked half decent with the puck in the final 5 seconds. Other than that, pure garbage

I said before the game, the NHL has given this series to the Habs with that suspension. Plus Stats & DeMelo injuries, Jets lucky to win one game in this series for so many critical players out it creates chaos with our lines and chemistry

Listening to the Game it sounds like the Habs played a similar style as our Boys against the Oilers. Limiting chances until the last few minutes.
