For a player that was playing in europe the year b4 its not bad. And its his first year in the NA.

They still aren't good numbers no matter how you shape it. The guy is 19/20 putting up medicore numbers in the WHL. If I recall right he didn't make the sweden under 20 team.....how do you expect him to make the under 23 team.JOrtmeyer41 said:For a player that was playing in europe the year b4 its not bad. Lupul has more upside than Stajan, and after remembering he spent the majority of the season in the NHL, I take it back... he would be ahead of Matt.ktownhockey said:I love Stajan and the leafs.... but Stajan isn't as good as any of the aformentioned..
if this was 83's and down he would be on this team for sure...
Postman said:I don't think McConnell or Steckel have a shot at making the team. I would definitely take Hennessy, Jessiman, Stafford, and Wheeler before considering them.
And as much as I love Wisniewski, I think I'd take Welch over him as well. Wisniewski will be a solid player, but I think Welch is much more of an impact player with higher upside.
My lines would look something like this...
O'Sullivan --- Parise --- Brown
Higgins --- Schremp --- Umberger
Kesler --- Fritsche --- Stafford
Eaves --- Slater --- Jessiman
Extras: Hennessy, Wheeler
Whitney - Komisarek
Suter - Stuart
Ballard - Gleason
Extras: Thelen, Welch
Montoya
Howard
Extra: Bacashihua
I don't think O'Sullivan's ever played left wing, but there's a lot of centers and very few capable wingers. I think one of the top three centers (O'Sullivan, Parise, Schremp) would have to play wing, and I think O'Sullivan is the most logical choice.
Except he's missing Robert Earl.Rabid Ranger said:That is an excellent looking team. Well balanced at all positions with a ton of fire power. Nicely done!

Where is Dan Blackburn?? Blackburn was a first round pick and yes he has been injured but he played in 63 games in the NHL and when Richter went down played in 19 straight games before Dunham came to the Rangers. Blackburn was carrying the Rangers at one point. Emery is a 4th round pick and only played 6 games in the NHL and on a better defensive team in the Sens.

No, because it's a fact.krooky said:Why, because he is a Leaf? Maybe ahead of Roy but definitely not ahead of the other 3. Leaf fans
I really hope Robbie Earl plays his way onto team USA in December.Rabid Ranger said:I said it was an excellent looking team, not the best possible team........
I would take Doug Lynch and Aaron Johnson over Phaneuf and Coburn. The guys already are AHL all-stars and Johnson has 29 decent NHL games under his belt, while Phaneuh and Coburn still have to play their first pro game.Defence Pairings:

Phaneuf and Lynch will probably start in the NHL at the same time. Phaneuf is very ready to play in the NHL. He almost made the Calgary Flames out of camp.bizoncol said:I would take Doug Lynch and Aaron Johnson over Phaneuf and Coburn. Phaneuf is more talented, but Lynch is more mature and experienced. I've never seen Phaneuf in pro-hockey though...Leafaholix said:Phaneuf and Lynch will probably start in the NHL at the same time. Phaneuf is very ready to play in the NHL. He almost made the Calgary Flames out of camp.
