I don't know if Schneider instinctively played the man and pass on that 2 on 1 break-in and let Georgiev take the shooter, but good play

Kakko still lacks killer instinct.

Its the problem kids have when they are trying to stick on a line, as much as everyone says its the coach that makes lines, the players have input too, it just looks like Kakko is trying to please Strome in order to save his spot in the top 6, id guarantee Strome would tell him to shoot it.

kakko and lafreniere look so much faster this year, kakko looks like a different player with the puck confidence wise too - like the look of those two together

and as a member of the few, possibly the only, fan who likes sammy blais shout out to my guy... pots a geno and bringin the hurt out there

Man I really like Cuylle. I’ve been watching him for a minute and I really think he’s closer than a lot of the young guys.

Georgiev is the goalie you can see being on really bad teams. Basically plug the hole as a shooter tutor, face tons of shots and put up average numbers. It’s extremely hard to see a guy like him who is just so inconsistent being part of a good team, even as a back up. The parity in the NHL makes the margin for error razor thin, you can’t expect to be good with a goalie who plays 30% of your games to be an unpredictable headcase who can either look like Hasek or worse than an ECHL goalie.
