A lot of the posts/articles I see are driving me nuts. You'd think we'd already won Gold. Still 3 games left. All we need is one bad period, one weak Canadian goaltending performance, one hot opposition goalie.

No wonder so many other countries call us arrogant. I know I can be an arrogant ass but I know it's still a long way to Tipperary.

Canada has looked impressive in previous years but has managed to crap the bed at some point (that third period, the first couple periods against the Russians the following year, totally flat performances in semis against US and Finland)

That being said I think this is their year.

Our New Years Eve game really doesn't mean much, if we both make the finals you guys can just as easily beat us, especially if Fucale is in net.

This is true. At least I am honest about it.

The American's 3rd goal on NYE should be a reminder of the last 5 years and how one unexpected turn can quickly change everything. Fortunately, we scored another goal.
