A pure combo of intellectual immaturity, bad coaching, and horrific goaltending.

On the intellectual immaturity - they have one single line that can hurt you. Just manage the f***ing puck and manage your f***ing position in those 20 mins they play. Shouldn’t be that f***ing complicated for this group, but we just can’t help but dick the puck around at the blue lines no matter who is on the ice.

On coaching - if Klingberg is getting torched by Mackinnon because he can’t skate, stop putting him on the ice against Mackinnon. Got burned in the first, got burned on the winner. We can’t have a d man that skates that bad in the top 4. Find another option.

On goaltending - get another f***ing goalie for the love of god. Idiot can’t save anything along the ice from any sort of distance, and soils himself when good players are coming down on him off the rush. Sadly, it appears we have to wish for more of these types of performances to slap management in the face to force them to get a redundancy that isn’t a career minor leaguer.

Just a ridiculous game from a group that purports to be past this kind of stupidity.
above everything else...quite naive actually.
knob got schooled.

You clearly never watched him, but as soon as the playoffs started he hit a second gear.

The same way McDavid did last year when the playoffs started.

We understand you dont know hockey too well though, so i'll take it easy on you.
What a bunch of crap, you don’t know jack shit about hockey. 50,000 posts and every one of them as brainless as the last.
Every player gives extra in the playoffs doesn’t mean they coast in the regular season.

I can imagine him struggling in the same way any other goalie who's rolled through here over the past 30 years has. The good will be expected but the bad will be overemphasized.

Obviously, the cost would be exorbitant and the cap impact would mean we don't have the necessary cap or trade capital to address the other areas of the roster.

Then that's the front office's own damn fault. They spent $10 million dollars on three players in the summer.

Manage your f***ing cap properly. If we can get some extra saves, that will make a bigger impact than likely whatever next genius forward add they think they're bringing in to move the needle.

Hes on pace to be like +30.

If thats worrisome, you have unrealistic expectations.
Dead corpse could have good +- stats being strutted out with Ekholm, Draisaitl and McDavid all season. His lazy passes on the PP, nonchalant demeanor and inability to consistantly hit the net is worrisome. Absolutely it is. Not sure why you get so offended when players are called out for performing below expectations ?

Bouchard, Hyman and goaltending.

Also doesn’t help that McDavid is playing like RNH.
You can add the entire team defence.
What a sloppy defensive effort all around.

They had a lot of trouble with the Av's speed (which forced the dmen to back in on top of Skinner and Pickard) and the Av's also gave them fits with their ability to counterpunch so quickly.
Also...Makar is a stud dman.

Oh...and Bouchard shows once again that....when he is bad....he is AHL level bad.

A soon to be 40 year old Corry Perry was one of the best forwards this game.
Says a lot.

This team has a lot to work on in practice over the next couple of weeks.

My excitement for the playoffs is going down every game skinner is in net. Seriously dont even want to bother getting invested anymore as long as we have him. And what the f*** is up with mcdavid
That is called HOPE

Management not upgrading on net (which doesn't guarantee anything either) is called having no hope.

Maybe your buddy should learn how to stop a puck in the first period

Weird how you deflect from your son giving the game away with 2 muffins against in the first period

Crosby got swept by a boston team that was the underdog, did you miss that?
Yeah, I must have missed when the Pens and Bruins met in the finals. 🙄

Not to mention Rask was amazing all playoffs, and those Bruins (who won a cup a couple years prior) were built to take on teams like the Pens. Oh, and Crosby already had a cup, so by you guys logic, Crosby shouldnt have even cared or some shit.

How about playing to win the West?

Winnipeg has Hellebuyck, we have Skinner/Pickard, they're going to win just based off that. We're going to finish in our usual 104-109 point range maybe a bit better but we're some what capped by what we have in net.

Is that legit by the way, because that would be pretty hilarious given some people popping off here.

Absolutely

You can verify it yourself. Just add points, subtract empty net points, and then divide by games played. I didn't include the 1 GP for McDavid where he played 30 seconds of ice time.

Saros gave up six to the Hawks tonight, Skinner still has the seventh best save precentage over the last 11 weeks.
I’d feel a lot better with Saros than Skinner. Skinner makes me super nervous anytime the opposing team comes up the ice. I honestly don’t have confidence in Skinner anymore.

He’s let in far too many and early often.

If not Saros, get Vejmelka at the very least.

It’s embarrassing watching you only focus on shitting on McDavid when he’s been the only reason we’ve been relevant for years

That's freaking hilarious, even in a "bad" year he still outscores basically everyone outside of Mickey Mouse empty net pts (who cares). It's LEON'S TEAM NOW tho ... lmao.

I hope Pickard receives as much vitriol as Skinner.
We want an upgrade on either of them, Skinners buddy. Chillax. Your boy sucks ass. Pickard plays lesser teams, but he still looks better.

I hope Pickard receives as much vitriol as Skinner.
Have to add OilerMcLord to the SKinner Dream Team Defense team. Don't know if this one is Shapiro? Cochran? Kardashian? Sheck? Bailey?

This is the type of defense this Swiss Cheese needs in net.

I get helly love in the reg. season, but when it matters?? he is one of, if not, the worst high pressure performers I have witnessed,
