+/- stat means nothing when you have Stuart Skinner in net. He is the worst goalie for any teams contending for a Cup. He will always be the 2nd best goalie in a playoff series, enough of him already and trade him for an upgrade.

Blackwood looked horrible but Skinner still somehow managed to be worse.

Blackwood looked meh ( he made big stops), but played 2 games in a row. Usually unheard of. His track record though, is top tier. Consistent. That's the difference.

The regular season is kind of boring, we're going to finish around the same 104-110-ish point range we always do. Any higher than that is likely restricted by Skinner/Pickard being a lower tier tandem.

So there's no intrigue there.

Also goalie is once again an issue as is a lack of guys that can bury the puck in the net and move bodies when the going gets tough.
