That entire sequence where the Avs got a 2 man advantage was all because Klingberg couldn’t make a simple pass out of the D-zone.

Hyman with the telegraphed back pass instead of advancing the puck killed them for the game winner. And there was no coverage on the open man.

And then we got dumb Bouch.

Quite possibly one of dumbest game I’ve ever witnessed in the McDavid era.

Yeah he's definitely in a lull right now. Hyman has been bad all season outside of maybe 5-10 games.

Can't go into playoffs with Skinner as your #1 option in net.

He had that streak of 7 goals in like 5 games, other than that Hyman has been terrible.

I think the oilers powerplay actually improves if we put Perry on it instead of Hyman.

However - unless McDavid is sneakily trying to conserve energy for the playoffs then I have to concede that Avs fans are right about Mackinnon being every bit as good as him or better. He hasn't been himself at all this season, not even close. Mack showed him up big-time tonight.

It's not even close this year. McDavid has been a very very distant 2nd best. Drai is entirely driving this team.

They’re very stoppable actually. They have 5 good players. We have way more depth. This team just can’t roll out Klingberg, Skinner, Arvidsson and Podz on line 2 if they’re a serious contender. Lot of holes to fix.

The avs are like the oilers used to be, a 1 line team.

Kills a lot of plays and has completely lost his scoring touch this year outside of that streak. I think he'll get it back, but just haven't been getting enough out of some of the support players.

Still have very few worries about this team outside of the goaltending.

It's not just his stride which has been off. His puckhandling is worse too, and even his decision making when he has it has been frankly poor at times. Has not looked the same for a couple of seasons now, no idea what it is.

I’ve always preferred Draisaitl over McDavid, but that’s just me though.
