Makar force of nature 29:11 all situational toi and MacKinnon steamroll Oiler Line 1. Skinner abysmal in net and team defense had trouble with a fast, aggressive team. Aves owned the neutral zone.

Draisaitl came to play tonight. But couldn't carry this team across the finish line.

As I've said Connor has a negative goal differential without Drai this season, people complain about not spreading out the firepower, but at the moment Connor isn't effective without him. I wish he'd skip 4 Nations to rest up, but I'm sure he won't.

McDavid hasnt added anything to his game in years, besides the meme shot off the goalies back. In fact, he has regressed since his 60 goal campaign. Crosby didn't start as a 2way stud. Neither did Draisaitl or Matthews. Unacceptable effort on that side of the puck by the "captain". And I use quotations because it's obviously Drais team. Sorry but screaming "dig in" isn't a leader.

I'm very worried we have seen the best of his career and it's downhill from here.

I'm terrified if McDavid isn't hurt, because he's been f***ing terrible for most of this season. Honestly it feels like a lot of his production he's just leeched off of Draisaitl.

Do oilers fans have drasaitl as the better player? I know mcdavid is universally labelled the best, but just curious I would like to get opinion from someone who watches them game in and game out
