Somnolent but still stifling until about 8 minutes left. After that they turned it on and the wild couldn't keep up.

I don't think so. He looked good in preseason pre-Torres. You also don't just wake up one day and magically be in shape and improve your game 1000%, it would have been a gradual thing.

Man that game was a snoozer. I know the Ducks are largely to blame for employing trap-like qualities, but still every single game against Minnesota has looked very similar to that one.

Take the two points and forget about it.

I will say that Silf looks like a totally different player. Extremely pleased to see it.
