Umalatov misses weight, out of the tournament, Luciano filling in against Storley. Sucks because this should've been the year he finally wins it all.

PFL has confirmed that these tournaments will set up #1 contenders for the belts. I think this is ultimately the best solution for them to move forward with, no reason for them to have both Bellator and PFL belts and keeps the titles being defended more often than just one title fight a year without the champions having to go through the tournament gauntlet.

Luciano has decent front chokes, he might be live against a wrestler like Storley (I still favor Storley tho)

I like a lot of the underdogs on the ufc card. Only 3 I don’t really like are Belbita/Buday/Ode

Gurule was my favorite prospect coming off the contender series- not super dynamic and could run into some trouble in the first against Osborne but

1) he is pretty good everywhere and is a phenomenal scrambler

2) great cardio, great pressure

3) durable

IMO he’ll be a top 10 flyweight, possible even top 5 eventually. Trains with Royval.

Uran is pretty mid and is a LHW (imagine he moves back down after this) but I’m interested in this matchup

Yeah Uran just went life and death with a cab driver a month ago (sick fight tho).I think I like Buday in this matchup even tho I don’t think he’s any good

Uran weighed in at 223, California re weigh-in on fight night that happened when Buday fought on the last San Diego card a couple years ago had him at 290, Uran is screwed

I did 2 diff lil parlays

Barbosa sub/Gurule @+142
Buday/Brito-Sab doesn’t go the distance +120

These are the safest investments one can make at this current moment in time

Finnay-Valentin ... what a boring fight ... and Finnay shouldn't have won it.
30-27 for Valentin ... is not good neither ... but at the end ... Finnay had more damage than Valentin.
when you wrestle ... you inflict damage at a point in time ... if you don't do that .. it was useless.

30-27 Valentin is the worst card I have ever seen. Judge should be curbstomped. To even try to justify that , however boring the fight was, is embarrassing.

Well Gurule just got murdered trying to strike with Ode after he has success on the ground in round 1. Shame!

He spent the first 2-2:50 of the first round on the feet before going for his first takedown. Was probably doing the same for the round but the striking advantage was way too much.
