This card was actually pretty good.

BSD showing up like he needed to was fun. Aldo v. Zahabi might have been number one bulls*** but that was fun. Valentina fight. Main event was great. LW division in chaos now. Tom Aspinall still on ice, Dana can't get anything done, gotta love it.

Really good fight.

I had it 48-47 for JDM but 49-46 is fine too. Really impressive performance by him. Ate everything thrown his way and landed some impressive shots. Mixed it up really well too and made it tough for Belal to key in on him.

Weird gameplan by Belal. Didn’t pressure a ton early or look for takedowns.

honestly ... i am very ok with that.
Valentina won by a margin the rounds she won. the 1st and the one where Manon was saved by the bell.
so it was tight, for me because Manon had control time. But did very little with it and was never dangerous.
So depending on the way you judge ... it could have been tight ...
i saw the possible range from a clear win for Valentina to a tight win for Fiorot.
But 3-2 or 48-47 Valentina is in the middle of my range.

i answer to myself ... to add the comment that this is why i regret this 9 to 10 principles. there are 10 points ...
Judges should go with dept ... .like attributing 3, or 5 or ... 7 points ... .

Like in this case, if Fiorot would have won ... that would have been unfair.

it is comparable to when the majority of people vote for a president ... or when some small states make the other guy win ... it is unfair. The majority should win, same for the boxing ... the best fighter should win , not the one who saved his ass better on the majority of the rounds. A round won because of control with nothing else doesn't have the same value than a round won ... when the other was saved by the bell.

Belal showed great toughness & heart but looked pretty bad in there. Islam will take care of JDM I think, but good for him winning this one.
