I used to be a big fan of the UFC but man has that product degraded over the years. The prices for this event were ridiculous.

It's also disheartening how the UFC treats their athlete, doesn't really makes me want to spend dollars on anything UFC related.

Edit: Just saw he retired. Make sense but still surprised he was still fighting.

Weird how little noise this made (no-one at work even mentioned and I work with 90% bros, peeps used to be into it)… I did even not know this was happening… Thinking ufc fad might be fading.. Glad to see local boys doing well I guess.

Saw gsp at Cafe ferreira this winter btw, looks so much thicker than I remember.

Newhook, Evans, Jeff Malott (Mike Malotts brother playing in LA), and Anderson were in the row behind me. Gallagher and his wife not far away in the aisle. Struble, Guhle, Dobes elsewhere. Subban in the VIP area. Florian in the reds. I was really rooting for Mike Malott after I saw the intensity his brother Jeff was watching with… they reacted to every strike. That finish blew the roof off.

Great event. Unreal experience. Some great fights. Great crowd (rowdy). Yes… the prices were crazy… yes… the card could’ve been better… but I’ve been wanting to catch one of these up close for a long time but never got around to it.

I hope to do it again sometime.
