While I'm still waiting for Islam to fight a legit LW contender I'd rather this fight than see him sit out for something ideal. It would be nuts if if Dustin wins but we all know he's going to get pounded out after going for an ill advised guillotine lol.

Stirckland-Costa I really like as a neutral fan but I'm wondering why Costa's team agreed to this. He looked really good against Whittaker even though he lost but Strickland is a step up at this point.

I feel like Costa almost just needs to move up a class. His cuts look brutal, and I wonder how he would look if he were hydrated. The issue is that the 20 lbs jump is probably too much. Need a class in between imo.

Costa definitely has something up with his left foot... most are assuming a staph infection but some people in the replies are saying it's mat burn. I'm watching the embedded episodes now and that foot is wrapped up while sparring.

Could definitely be mat burn, my toes get mangled in grappling. Not usually in that spot though. But notice the scarring on the other toe knuckles too- they’re in the same spot relative to the wound above the big toe. Probably got it from the way he sprawls or something

How did any one give Riposo 2 rounds in that fight? He got absolutely controlled the whole fight, whatever judge that was needs to get let go, he shouldn't be judging the highest level of this sport.
