Honestly really don't like either of the guys in the main event. Since Poirier probably retires with a loss I guess I'm hoping for an Islam win then

I just can’t bring myself to like Dustin with how much of a sore winner that guy is. Always has to bitch about something.

Honestly I can’t believe he’s as popular as he is. His shtick is incredibly corny to me
I love watching him fight but everyone makes him out to be this super nice Southern boy but I find he can rotate between being a nice/respectful dude and a whiney baby. He also just comes off as a douche sometimes, but he's a pro fighter, a lot of them can come off that way. You almost need toxic confidence to be successful.

Genuinely curious to see some examples of what you guys are talking bout regarding Poirier.

Shtick...Sore winner...Toxic confidence...what?
Only thing I can think of is after the Hooker fight but even then that’s just standing on business (and they immediately embraced after)

I remember when Gaethje was putting a beating on a fight (Ferguson I think), and someone twitted Poirier beat Gathje easily (in their first fight). Poirier tweeted back straight away saying it wasn't easy. Poirier seems like a solid humble guy to me. Well, at least for a fighter. You need to have some ego!

The really tiresome people are Topuria, Jones, Covington etc. who talk way too much ****.

I dont get it either, I like Poirier and hope he can pull it off.
But i dont watch most post fight interviews or anything press conference or weigh in etc.

I recently moved and started a new job so I've had less time to be on here.

Just wanted to say that I can't believe the Poirier slander I've read in here. Some of y'all should be ashamed.

Anyway, Poirier by guillotine.
The bitching and moaning after every win just ruins him for me

Looks like Almeida vs Romanov has been moved to the prelims and replaced by Price vs Morono for some reason.

I'll be in the house for this one and should be getting there for the first fight. It's not the greatest card but it still has some decent fights. Losing Van/Taira and fluffy/dolidze hurts it.
