WJC: U20 WJC Semifinal game thread Sweden vs Finland

Pretty fun for a 0-0 game so far. Finland had the first 10 and Sweden had the last 10.

That’s what is fun about single elimination tournaments.

Canada certainly has holes in their play so I’m not exactly overconfident.

Cameron’s decision making doesn’t help.

I know what Czech's did for USA and it was a surprise absolutely.
But i'm sure there's some players in Canada's team who have watched IIHF worlds gold medal game vs Finland.
So i think those guys ( who ever they are ) at least wants try do to same what Finland did in Tampere this past may.

Of course i'm happy if we win these U20 WJC's but i try be realistic.
Yes 2016 we had goaltending issue like this year and still we won U20 gold.
But i'm not so sure of that can Jatkola be similar savior what Kaapo Kahkonen was for us 2016.

And Pennanen is not Jukka Jalonen.
So everything is possible.

Some Sabres' fans have been quite pessimistic about him. He's looked decent in this tournament afaic.

Sees the ice well, excellent shot, gets to the front of the net more than I expected to see.

Fans often give up way too early on these kids.
