Slovak skating and just knowledge of where to be on the ice is night and day compared to the US. Every one of their skaters glides effortlessly, our guys look like skating is a chore. Has SZLH not invested at all to better skating, this is sad to watch

Lol slovakia has scored 5 on US while sweden only managed 1 goal

And has an insane talent for putting the puck in the net.

His numbers are worse than Keller's who also dominated the U18 WC, is 8 cm taller and seems on his way to be 60-70 point wing at the NHL level IF he pans out. Yamamoto was another similar guy that year and is yet to break into the NHL. This U18 championship hype is overblown to the next level.

Caufield scored more goals in the NTDP than Keller — in fact, he set both the single season and all-time program records for goals scored. I specifically stated he had an “insane talent for putting the puck in the net”, which means scoring goals. No one has been better at this in the history of the program.

Why are players who have already turned 18 allowed to play in this U18 tournament? What's the cutoff date?
