U18: U18 day 4!

Czechs plated real well today, more then well enough to give themselves a chance to win, they had 2 real prime chances to get that goal but couldn't make it happen and obviously you can't win games if you don't score. I see the usual we lost because of the refs rubbish and it's simply not true, they just came up short today and their effort shouldn't be sullied with that crap.

The Czech coach first caused the 2men adv for Sweden, then didn't pull out the goalie when his team had pressure in the offensive zone with less than 2 mins remaining. I really don't know what exactly are Jakub Petr's competences for coaching any national team.
 
Shame about the 5 on 3 because of our coach. This started with me mentioning one stupid penalty after another... guess what killed us.. a stupid penalty! The coach, I cannot believe that.

Button with a nice point.. after 3 games we've only allowed 3 goals. 2 against Slovakia and one against Sweden. Not including the empty netter or shootout goals.

Hrabal was outstanding. The goal that beat him was gorgeous!

Looking forward to seeing Canada's PP on Tuesday over and over and over.lol

Also i didn´t see any system in our game and it was allways like that when Petr was coach.

I've been the only poster defending him .. I look foolish now! I can't even remember the last time a NT coach took a penalty? Yet alone in the 3rd period of a 0-0 game when we are a man down? I mean, Varada didn't get one and he's crazy!

Well there it is, jj cale said so, so it must be true.

Guess we are just going to tolerate refs pulling phantom penalty out of their ass.
 
I saw the whole game, Sweden controlled the match and were better, its just that easy.
 
Surprised that Lindstein got player of the game over Willander. Even before the goal, I thought Willander was having an outstanding game. He’s excellent defending the rush, defending the cycle, and in transition.

So Swedes won the group as Canada can't catch them because of head to head.

All the Czechs have to do to avoid US is win in regulation against Canada.lol

This ref shit caused us to lose is a disease around this place, everyone teams fans say it after a loss.............funny how that goes.


The Czechs could have scored on the chances they created, they could have not collapsed on that p.p and not let the swedish player just waltz in and rip a shot as he so desired to score the winning goal, what does that have to do with the ref?

You fail to score one goal and somehow it's the refs fault.

It's really tiring. But hey.....................if wooren says it is so.

What rubbish, it's just not being able to take a loss, plain and simple.
