Finland - Switzerland will decide whether Finland will make the playoffs.

Two high hits there, firsr on Heinola and then someone elbowed another Finn.
"Someone" was Oksentyuk. He's like 5'6". That would be pretty tough for him to make a "high" hit.

BTW Palchik shorthanded makes it 2:0. Another 2002 guy who didn't play at the EYOF. He was a healthy scratch against Czechs.

Finland's coach has to be braindead having Aaltonen as netfront when he's like 5'8" and 150 lbs.

No it isn't he raised his arm so that his elbow hit the Finn's head. It's not rocket science.

Unbelievable Belarus is doing this without two of their best players in Protas and Alistrov.
Today they play against each other in the WHL Conference finals. Historical moment for Belarus hockey: all 4 European imports in the series are Belarusians.

Where did the speed and tenacity from yesterday's 1st period go? So many mistakes, almost every player seems to be coasting.

Oksentyuk does it again. I doubt there's more exciting player at this WJC.

Another beautiful play by Oksentyuk: stick-skate-stick and 2 minutes for slow Finn. Oksentyuk alone earned 3 penalties against Finland in this game.
